Dear SpiceHeads,
I've Dell PowerEdge R720 with 64 GB RAM. It runs Windows Server 2012 and as a Hyper-V host.
Today I've created one Windows Server 2012 VM on it with 16 GB start-up RAM and dynamic memory option enabled.
When I check performance I was shocked to see my VM is using 98% of
RAM when nothing is running on it. CPU usage is mere 1%. I've only
created a network share on the server and mapped it on user laptop.
Tried restarting the server, but still same case.
How do I know why my VM is consuming all the 16 GB allotted to it when no program is running on it? Please help.
