Hi
I'm introducing a secondary Server 2008R2 domain controller into our network. I've got the basic secondary DC up & running. My customer is a small charity with about 10 Win7 clients. The current DC hosts the users' roaming profiles and home directories, as well as a common file share.
I would like to use DFS to ensure that if one DC goes down, the users will still be able to access their profiles, home folders and the common share. I'm a little unsure aboput whether the additional layer of abstration that comes with DFS will cause any difficulties,
Has anyone done this?
Thanks in advance
Patrick
