We run the Ipswitch Imail server on a Windows 2003 Dell server. About a week ago the Symantec AV that is included in the Imail license stopped working. This AV requires a specific version of Java and I believe the latest Java update (7.21) must have fouled something up. I uninstalled all Java componenets (or think I did) and also uninstalled the Symantec Imail AV. While reinstalling the Imail Symantec AV it prompted me to install the specific version of Java it needed (so far so good) which I did. After a reboot I continued with the AV install only to receive an error message that said I did not have a proper version of Java on the machine. I spent a couple of hours with Imail support on this yesterday to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
