We have transitioned from an older terminal server to a newer one for one of our database programs. Now I am not the DB manager, but I have been tasked to do a side by side comparison and make sure the printer drivers match up on both servers. The older one is 2008 standard and the newer one 2008R2. Both are 64bit also. My biggest concern is that the DB application is printing fine on the older 2008 server, but some features are not working on the newer one, i.e having to manually select printer trays, etc. Some of the drivers are showing up as post script drivers on the older one, where as the on the newer one just showing up as a standard driver. For example: Dell 2335dn MFP PS on one Dell 2335dn MFP on the second. Where can I find the exact file location of these drivers to do a comparison? I have looked in the drivers directory under the system32 directory, but no luck. Thanks for the help.
