Slow file copying

Hi Guy's,

I have a bit of a weaird one regarding very slow file copying with a clients PC.

The server is Windows 2003 Standard (running in a workgroup so no AD installed) the PC is running Windows 7 Pro 64bit (both have all altest SP's and updates installed).

When copying files too the server file copying takes hours. However when copying files from the server too the PC it is very quick .

The other Windows XP Pro computers are not being affected by this issue. The PC in question has been in place for about 11 months or so with no other issues.

I have ran anti-virus, malware scans and windows updates. I have moved the PC to another desk so I know its not a cable or switch port issue.

I have brought the PC back to our workshop and cannot replicate this issue when copying files back and forth between our servers and this particular PC (although our server here is an SBS 2008 server).

Before I take this PC away a second time and completely reinstall it (together with trying a replacement network card) can anybody give a pointer on where to look next.

(Note I have just been told this issue also effects a newer Windows 7 Pro 32bit PC also on the network so at this point I am very confused on where to look next)..
