Can't Ping or RDP to Server 2008 R2

I have a 2008 R2 server that has been running for 1+ year now.

Few weeks ago, it started to have problem with RDP. The problem will resolve it self if I reboot the system.

Eventually, the server will not let me RDP or ping the server at all.

Here are things I tried so far

1. Migrate this physical machine to VM and see if it's a hardware issue. I still can't ping or RDP to the server after I change it to a VM.

2.I check if the server is listening to the RDP port. It is listening 3389

3. I tried RDP and ping to the server itself, it worked.

4. I deleted RDP on the server and readd it, but still not working.

5. I enabled the firewall and allow all traffic. not working.

6. I can open share drives on that server from different computers.

7. I added an extra nic card to see if I can rdp to that card's ip address. not working.

8. tried changing the static ip address or let the server pick up ip using dhcp. not working.

Any other troubleshooting tips or ideas?
