Transferring FSMO roles from a Win Svr 2003 R2 (older) to Win Svr 2008 R2 (new)

Hello, (first post),

I was just wondering if there are any precautions that should be taken if we are transferring roles from a Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard, our older server on its last leg, to a new server which runs a virtual Windows Server 2008 R2 Stardard edition of Windows Server. We also have a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 email server running.
