I've been given the responsibility of migrating the company QuickBooks to a new platform. My ideal setup would be server 2012 using terminal session/RDP to access QuickBooks on the QuickBooks server. Somewhere between 4 to 6.
tl;dr question with explanation below
it appears that for running terminal servers over server 2012, I need to run active directory. Since this is primarily a Linux/Mac house, active directory isn't available. Is there any way I could set up a very simple terminal server configuration on server 2012 without the complication of active directory?
Thanks for any help or insight.
