Hi, A client has a Windows Server 2008 hosting an internal AD domain (****.local), DNS and File and Print server Roles. This morning they are unable to get to there external website (****.com) hosted by an outside vendor, or their email servers also hosted by the same vendor on the same external domain (mail.***.com). They are able to access any other external website and all internal data hosted on the local server.
The external website is up and available, and can be accessed from any other network outside their local domain. From inside their local domain, I can ping the IP of their web domain and get a reply, but not the URL. Pinging the URL fails. Same with TraceRT: The IP address works, the URL fails. Ping and TraceRT for any other available URL is successful.
