NTP Network Time - Windows - Question

Domain: Windows 2008 R2

2 Domain Controllers: Main DC physical machine, secondary DC virtual machine

Out of nowhere we started to get client machines having times that were minutes behind the times of other clients and servers. We identified that the clocks that were slow were being authenticated by the secondary DC (which is a virtual machine)

I notice in the event logs this sequence of two events

First: Event ID 37,

The time provider NtpClient is currently receiving valid time data from CHI-BNS (ntp.m|0x0|0.0.0.0:123-172.20.10.31:123).

Followed immediately by Event ID 35

Batchfile
The time service is now synchronizing the system time with the time source VM IC Time Synchronization Provider.

So it appears, that whenever this Domain Controller, running in a VM synchs with my primary domain controller (a physical machine), the Virtual...
