Encrypted Windows Fax Server

Hello,

I'm looking to set-up a secure fax line for our security department. I have a couple of questions going into this as I've never set-up a fax server before.

1) Can this be accomplished by using Windows Server 2012 r2?

2) Does an additional POTS line need to be installed?

3) Is setting up a secure fax line possible without having to outsource it?

4) What is all needed to accomplish my goal? SSL cert, POTS Line, Windows Server, etc.
