I have a file within a folder on my File Server that I have made special permissions to a few users. In order to make those special permission changes, I had to uncheck the "Include Inheritable Permissions from Parent" checkbox in order for those changes to save.
After making the changes and applying them, everything looked good and the users had access. Several minutes later (maybe an hour) the settings I made were gone, and the check box was selected for Inheriting permissions again.
I have never seen this before and have gone over the permissions a few times with the same result after a short amount of time, things are back to inheriting permissions on these files.
Any suggestions as to why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.
