RDP Certificate Hell

Guys,

Here is the story. Third party vendor upgraded from XP to Windows 7. They connect to the VPN then RDP to a terminal server. It has worked for months. As soon as they upgraded to Windows 7, we get this old bastard....

"A revocation check could not be performed for the certificate."

They are not allowed to proceed. I'm about to kick over the water cooler. Here is what I've done.

1. Internet Options -- turn off revocation check

2. Install self-signed server cert on client machine in Trusted Root Authority

3.Regeneratedself-signed cert, installed on client.

4. Added certificate to "local computer" trusted root authority to try and avoid user cert compatibilitypossibilities.

5. Read enough technet to last a year.

6. Prayed to the IT gods.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
