I have read over the nice posts about DCOM and old computers, phantom IP addresses and flushing of ARP cache. I however am having a error hit my SQL2012 server System Event Log every 3 seconds;
DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer LyncSQLReplayClient using any of the configured protocols.
This is not a computer name, and falls outside my normal troubleshooting. I have a Lync instance and MSSQLSERVER instance on this server. We have a new Lync Enterprise configuration installed by a consultant. I presume the errors cropped up after chaning the switch for our SAN where the DB are stored, but it rolls my logs within 36 hours.
