DropBox has pushed out an update version 2.10.xx that is not allowing files to get the proper folder group permissions.
I have confirmed two weeks ago that it is DropBox transport that is not allowing the propagation of permissions to the file. (From user dropbox folder to main file server)
user uploads a file from their laptop and during sync, it puts the file in the correct folder but the files does not obtain the folder permissions. All version up to 2.8.4 have worked fine for the last 18 months.
I need to find a way to block the drobox update that is pushed down. I have contacted dropbox , but who knows how long it will take from a solution from them.
Yes , I have rolled back two times today and it updates to current version within 2 hours.
