DFS namespace MS server 2008 R2 migrate to a new domain and Netapp filer

Hi first up - I am a newbie to Netapp and am trying to get an approach to a problem I have come across...

I have a customer who is using Microsoft DFS namespace with Microsoft filers/servers to publish shares to users in their domain. The problem I foresee is I need to migrate the data to a Netapp filer in a new domain. The problem i have is i need the new shares the users see to be transparent to the users and any applications which may be using them.

Is there any way I can repoint my old shares to the new CIF shares in the new domain seamlessly?

or will users have to amend their shares?
