I have a Windows 2008 R2 64 bit print server (VM on ESX4) with several networked konica minolta printers at different locations. Naturally each printer points to its own tcp port. From time to time some of the printer queues appear to spontaneously point to a different port. The usual result is the user thinks the printer isn't working. What is happening is that the output is being sent to a different Konica printer which usually means in another city!
I have several Hp printers using HP universal driver and they7 seem fine, just the Konicas are exhibiting this behavior.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks,
John Cox
