Hey Guys,
I am in the mist of a migration to a large corporate after an acquisition. We have a one way trust in place which allows users from corp domain to map drives to our server and connect to the shares. All the rights are in place and everything is good.
The old way we used to connect to the shares is using \\internal.oldcompany.com\data when trying to connect to the share using this we get an access denied message.
When pinging internal.oldcompany.com it resolves the IP address of the DFS server that I am trying to connect to and as I mentioned we can connect using mapped drives.
I have checked the permissions on the share and in the DFS management and its all good.
Has anybody tried to do this over a trust and got it working successfully?
Thanks in advance.
