How can I delete an Extended Partition (Logical Drive) without killing my VM??

This will be my (edit) 4th attempt at freeing up this space. The last time I deleted the data off this WDS partition, there was a file that was locked bytheKerberos Key Distribution CenterService. No idea why, I didn't think WDSused Kerberos.
