I've got a Dell PowerEdge 2900 running a Raid-5 with three Fujitsu MBA3073RC 73Gb SAS HDDs on Windows Server 2003 R2. One of these drives failed yesterday, and while the Data is still intact on the other two, the server can no longer be accessed through the network and it won't allow me to create a backup of the data on an external drive. I'm trying to get a replacement ordered, but management is taking their time despite my urges to the contrary. My question is, is there anything I can do to restore functionality to the server until the new drive arrives?
