I recently started a job as a stand-alone "local" IT admin for 2 small to mid-sized offices accross opposite ends of the UK. Previously i was part of a large team and this question was irrelevant due to other members of the team having this as their job role.
Basically, i have about 6 servers split accross the 2 offices (again, miles apart) and need some software to provide some sort of "overwatch" for me. What i mean by that is - it would take me too long to be constantly checking disk space, pending updates (etc etc - you know what its like) everyday / or every other day even. I just need a piece of software (free or cheap, preferably free) that asks you for server addresses (or whatever) and it monitors whatever you tel it to monitor and give it ranges and tolerances, and when something goes over the threshold (a server...
