I have recently just installed new wired and wireless infrastructure at a customer site. The setup is pretty simple. The internet connection has to separate subnets. All local traffic and encrypted wireless talk on one subnet, then my guest wireless network talks on the other subnet and routes all traffic straight to the internet. So so I thought...
Well in order to provide addresses on the guest network I had to setup and NIC on my server, put it in the guest subnet and then setup a DHCP relay. Brilliant, guest network has addresses now and you can get out on the internet no problem. However, this guest network is truly open, anyone can connect without a password.
So Im just running a scan on the guest network and I see my DHCP server pop up, I scan the services and it would seem...
