I am having endless issues with Administrator permissions in Server 2012.
In this case I am trying to uninstall Sophos Anti-Virus from add/remove programs and the message I get is : Error 3005. Sophos Anti-Virus can only be uninstalled by users that are members of the SophosAdministrator user group.
I am using the actual Administrator account, which is a member of the group also, and I still can't uninstall. I have tried with my own user account which is a member of administrators and the Sophos group also, but same error.
I am reluctant to call Sophos as I'm sure it's an issue with our system because I've had simmilar problems trying to uninstall other software as users which are administrators, but not the actual administrator. I am having issues installing/uninstalling software or taking control of folders as user accounts which are a member of administrators. Seems that you have to be the actual administrator to get most things working.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
