I retired an old server and moved it's role over to another existing server. Because of file path issues I need to keep the old server name. So I used [netdom computername] and added a alternate name to the new role host. Everything works fine and we can access the files just as before.
The problem is when I run the [netdom computername /verify] command I get the following message: "Could not find a host Service Principal Name for the computer name:".
Anyone familiar with this and know how to resolve this error?
