Server 08 R2 Startup Script

Here's what I am brainstorming right now,

  I have a Server08R2 that has Exchange 2010 on it. It performs Windows updates and restarts automatically (as far as I know, this is what ive been told). here's the condition:

Server restarts, ALL Exchange services that are designated at Automatically start, DO NOT Automatically restart on reboot. It has become a chore to login into this server every once in a while to restart said services.

Is this a known problem? And my thoughts are, Created a PS startup script to start-service these so I don't have to.

Any input on this would be helpful. Including a best practices approach.
