I have a strange one here. This morning our mail stopped and after investigation I could see that hardly any services had started. Nothing in event log to suggest a problem either.
Tried a reboot and still the same and tried to start manually but also failed with 1053 error. Added a new entry in registry to extend the timeout but this still makes no difference.
Server is running 2008 Enterprisex64 with Exchange 2007. The server is a VM and is taking along time to boot up after a reboot. Any ideas?
