I have been having a weird issue this week. We run session-based RDS on our server. My users have full access to our development directory. No permissions have been changed recently.
Yesterday, I was denied access to the folder as Domain Admin. I was able to force it with the elevation prompt, and all has been fine for me.
Another user had the same thing later in the day. He is not an admin, but his effective permissions include Full Control. He tried logging out. We rebooted the server. Nothing helped. I even tried explicitly granting his user access to the folder; it did not work. I had to enter my credentials to get him into the folder. We have both been fine since that.
Today, another user belonging to the Domain Admin group experienced the same thing. He had to force access via the elevation prompt.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas?
