Hi all, can one of you marvellous people help me with a problem i'm having with our Server 2003 box?
Ever so often the OS looses it's ability to open network shares. I get an error such as "No network provider accepted the given network path" when trying to get to '\\SERVERNAME\'.
I can ping our DC etc but can't browse to it. Then all of a sudden I can? If I try and get to www.google.com all I get in return is http: address not valid. I can't ping google.com.
The physical server has been doign this for a while and while we planned to P2V it due to slow hardware and lack of disk space etc. I did this last week to new hardware to negate a hardware fault or issue.
Any thoughts as we're currently offline at the moment and it's a pretty critical server :-(
