printing to a local printer via VPN connection using RDP application

Hello everyone,

So here is the challenge we are running into, we have 3 sites a main site which has a windows server 2008 hosting RDP applications.

the 2 remote site have a local printer onsite and each user ( 2 users) are connected via VPN (L2TP) to the main site which is hosting their applications. 

we need to be able to print to those local printers from the remote applications which are using the RDP application hosting service at the main site.

I know when you connect via RDP you can change the local resources but using the RDP applications I don''t see the option to add the local resource.
