VPN on Server 2008 R2

I could really use some help with this. I am in the process of moving my VPN connection from my Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 R2.

I have setup the role and everything but whenever I enable the "Routing and Remote Access" service I loose access to my server, unable to ping or RDP.

If I go to the server and perform an IP config I can see my static IP but am unable to ping out. I have compared the settings from my current VPN server and my new one and the only thing I can see is the Internal Interface has no IP address like my current VPN server does.

I've gone into my firewall (sonicwall) and duplicated all the settings I could see from my current VPN server to my new one.

I also went into DNS and added an entry to match my current VPN server but using a different IP address.

Attached is a picture of my current setup and what I am seeing on my new setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
