Right firstly ill start off with saying my knowledge on cluster services is basic so pleas forgive me if anything i put is wrong.
Basically we have 2 2008 r2 servers, 1 PDC and 1 DC.
We have DHCP / PRINTSERVER / FILESEVER runing as cluster services, but for som reason we can not any longer failover these clustered services to the 2nd node, for ease sake server1 and server 2.
Server 1 curently runs all services, server 2 will not allow us to migrate any of the services to it, although it us up and running fine.
I have trid to evict the node which akles ages and re-ad it back in but it gives lots of warnings when doing so and appears to create 2 drives on the node which dont relate to anything and doesnt allow me to bring them online.
Any ideas on what maybe wrong or better still any ideas how to do a clean removal or clean up process of the failing node so that i could stat again from scatch... ive tried to clusternode /forceclean command but it didn work
