We have created a share folder in our windows 2003 server [server is in domain] and granted Read/Write Share permissions and NTFS security permissions to an user. It worked without any issues. User was able to access the share and upload/download data.
But recently we are facing a strange issue, that the user account got removed automatically from "share permissions" window. So the user is unable to access the share folder[Note: NTFS permissions remains same]. So that we have added the user again to provide share permissions.. it worked for some days... But again it brougt the same issue.
We would like to find out what casus the user account to revoke it from share permissions list. Kindly assist on this..
Note: We are unable to enable audit policy on this server as the domain security policy inherits.
