Hello all. I have a couple thread about DFS right now but each one is a different topic - thus the different threads.
I am attempting to setup DFS again. I understand the benefits of DFS, specifically the domain-based namespace. My question to those of you who use the domain-based namespace - do your users really go to \\domainname.local\xxxxxx - that seems like a lot to type. I want to make sure I am not missing something major here. I want to implement DFS to make it easier on our employees but this seems a bit counter-productive.
