How to set default domain name for Remote Desktop Server 2012?

Hi,

In Server 2003 you can set default Domain name for remote desktop connections to the server by going to;

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon and creating a String value called DefaultDomainName with the domain name as the value. usually also set AltDefaultDomainName.

In my new Server 2012 domain, everytime you try and log on to an RDS Session Host (TerminalServer) it tries to log in with default domain name as the computer name (locally). In the registry settings these String values didn't exist, whereas by default in server 2003 they do. I created them, and set them, but still the same issue.

Is there another way to set default domain name locally on a server?

I am using XP Embedded thinclients to Remote Desktop. They are joined to the domain, and logged into a domain user account. The user then remote desktop to a server.
