Terminal server VS RDWEB

I currently have a win2k8 R2 SP1 RDweb server and it works pretty well. I usually have about 7 users on at one time. I have 24GB of ram assigned to it and 4 cores. This server is a Hyper-V VM.

A while back I restored this server, and since then it has lost its connectivity one too many times. (long story). on top of that, I don't do much maintenance to it so I figure it is time to rebuild. (keep in mind I will probably migrate user files from one machine to the other. Nothing much, but like signature files, prepop file in outlook. little stuff.

We used to have a windows standard 2008 TS. But it had many problems. That one I did not build, I accidentally built this one because I didn't know what I was doing at the time.

I run about 15 applications on said server, some of them different versions, like Quickbooks and what not. Our environment has about an 20/80 read/write ratio. Not sure if that is relevant or not.

I just wanted to get your opinion on what to do? TS, or RDWEB.

Thanks in advance.
