I have a server that is acting as a file server and my spiceworks installation. It is currently displaying some wierd behaviors that I am having trouble tracking down.
I started troubleshooting the system when my users could not get into quickbooks.
What I found was when trying to view the security permissions of the folder it was taking 2-3 minutes to change the SID's into names and the advanced tab was grayed out until this occurred. I have seen the SID's take a split second to resolve before but never 2-3 minutes. Attached is the screen i was greeted with.
This issue seems to be causing the users launching QB to time out and pop an error that the file is inaccessible.
Currently accepting all thoughts on what to do next.
