We recently migrated to a new file server and I have a little headache to deal with. We have our policies in Word format, and inside the policies they have Word based hyperlinks / urls linking to other policies.
They are linked by full UNC so \\oldserver\data\policy2.docx
Needs to become
\\newserver\data\policy2.docx
I need a way to scan all of the files in the directory for those UNC paths that are embedded in the Word file. I've looked at Notepad ++, but it only searches the actual visible content of the file, not the embedded code such as the hyperlink data.
Does anyone know of a tool that will scan the entire file for a word and replace it?
Thanks,
Jeremy
