This is a little involved so please bear with me.
We have a software package called Qlikview analyser, its a BI reporting tool.
Its hosted on a windows 2K8 R2 server, with 2 x RDS Cals installed and working so 2 users can RDP in at the same time and work on the reports (appears you need to work on the server itself to edit stuff)
Because we want 2 users at the same time to work on it we couldnt sit them down at the console itself.
The problem, is some of the data is generated using batch file scripts, which require the user or console to be logged in (uses mapped drives)
But for some random reason the console (logged in as administrator at the moment) logs itself off meaning the batch files do not run.
We've tried the "run when not logged in" it simple fails.
There is nothing set to auto log the console off, (it is set to auto lock after 2 mins of inactivity)
We're stumped, anyone with more RDS experience have any ideas?
Would be need a 3rd RDS cal to enable the local console to remain logged in (albeit locked)?
