I am looking for some suggestions on the "best" (I know everyone will have different methods, what have YOU found to work the best) method for sharing files with clients.
Our sales department creates PO's, Doc Packets, etc. - these files are often to big to email so they send me an email and ask me to put it on our FTP site. If they don't exist as a user on the FTP site I have to go create them, give them passwords and access, then I copy the file they need into their respective folder, then I send an email to the salesperson that has the customer's user name, password, and a link to our FTP site. What a pain!
I'd like the sales people to drag a copy of the file into a folder and the customer be able to pick it up - I'd like to be out of the loop.
Some of the files are 100MB - most are below 50MB. We only do this maybe 10-15 times per month - it is NOT an everyday occurrence so I don't want to get into big $'s. We have 6 people that would use the system inside - we have 100+ clients (most don't use this because it's such a pain).
Suggestions? (all suggestions welcome)
