Hi all I am a bit confused and have 2 primary questions.
I have a Server 2012 Hyper-V failover cluster direct attached to multiple storage arrays.
1. On one of the arrays one pool is available to the cluster and is operating fine. It's a RAID 6 configuration at the array, attached to the same host group on the array, and deployed the same way as the second pool. However on the second pool, while it makes itself available to the same 2 hosts, it doesn't make itself available to the cluster.
2. While experimenting I found the on the second pool it allowed me to create thin virtual hard disks but on the first pool, and any other subsequent pools which provision themselves correctly to the cluster, the thin virtual hard disk option isn't available to me and I can't find any information as to why that would be.
Cheers.
