I recently moved our company shares from a Windows Server 2003 box to a Windows Server 2012 box. I setup a top level share and then placed departmental folders under it. I use access based enumeration and only give users access to the departmental folders they need. I map the shared drive letter through group policy preferences. Everything is working as it should with the exception of new folder creation. When a user attempts to create a new folder under a folder they have modify rights to they get a long drawn out message stating the Drive letter:\ refers to a location that is unavailable. I'll attach the error. I can browse to the shares through FQDN just fine and create folders ok. It's just the drive mapping that is causing the issue. Any help is much appreciated as I can't find anything on the Internet I've searched high and low.
