Any way to reserve memory for a windows server 2008 SBS admin account?

Last Monday morning I had one of those terrifying moments we've all experienced at one time or another. Being the only IT staff where I work, I do at least as much monitoring from home as I do in the office, and having had the backup job fail the previous night, I thought I'd log in and see if this one had completed.

...only I couldn't log in. Not to the servers, backup server, or my onsite client. No such account existed, supposedly. About that time onsite users started calling with complaints of no email, file share, etc. Luckily my emergency admin account did still work, so I was able to identify the hung backup job, kill it to free up system memory (which was pegged at 99%), and reboot just to be sure.

After that, the usual administrator account resumed working and further drama was averted.
