Server 2012 restarts after remote users log off

Hi guys,

We use a 2012 Server machine to allow managers to access software that we are required to keep at out main office. This has worked fine until a new regulation was passed that also required each manager to have their own profile and log in information for the machine.

Now when they log off remotely the machine will restart, but only when using CTRL+ALT+DELETE and logging off from that screen. If they use WINDOWS+I to log off from the settings pane or if they click on their profile name in the metro screen and sign out, the machine will not restart.

From my understanding all 3 processes should create the same result, so I was hoping someone here could tell me why the discrepancy exists.

All upgrades are current on the machine, and using the machine locally does not restart the machine.
