We still have a couple of dozen 2003 servers. Over the last few months about 85% of these virtual 2003 servers have been getting the following BSOD:
STOP : 0X000000D1, tcpip6.sys, Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
These 2003 servers are both Enterprise and Standard, some are application servers, a few are terminal servers. Doesn't seem to matter the purpose of the server, all are showing the same symptoms. Sometimes the server can go for 30 days before the error will occur, or it can be 30 minutes.The odd thing is we do have a handful of 2003 servers that are still physical and they DO NOT have the problem. In addition there are 4 2003 VMs that don't show this issue either.
We've looked at maybe AV software being an issue, and have uninstalled AV from two servers that are we using a test. Made no difference, as the error came back. We do use...
