Hey Guys,
We have a box running XenServer 6.2 with 4 Windows Server 2012 VMs on it. We have a 3Tb Seagate Backup Plus External HDD and when we plug it into the box and attach it with the XenCenter Management tool, it is not read on the VM. I have checked on Disk Management and it is listed there. As soon as I open Disk Management a window pops up telling me to initialize disk and I press ok, but I get an error "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error". I have tried to update the driver through windows update and it has the latest one yet it does not work. Any clue as to what it could be? Im thinking I might have to enable some roles/features on the server manager for it to work, but Im not really sure which ones. It already has Desktop Experience enabled.
