I have to apologize in advance - I've not done a great deal of work with DFS, so I may get a few things wrong or unintentionally omit some critical information. Having said that... Boy howdy, did I screw up.
In our environment, we use DFS across 2008 R2 servers in an Active Directory environment/config. Under namespaces, we've got 3 folders off the root of our published namespace, and up until Mister-I-Wasn't-Paying-Proper-Attention came along (me), a folder that can be best described as having what looks like the replication icon overlayed over the manila folder icon. This folder was called "LocalRepo", and is the one that I accidentally deleted.
We also have, under Replication, a Replication Group also called "Local Repo". I can see that all of the folders and files and shares from the 50+ servers out there are still in place, with the...
