Windows Server 2012 as DC in a purely wireless environment

I have been tasked to setup a very small office environment with Windows Server 2012 to be DC, DHCP, DNS and Application server.  There are no RJ45 connections in the office and am considering a purely wireless network to do this.  I normally wouldn't do this but thought it might work for now until they get to a point where they are able to spend the money to get a few drops added to this office.  I am hoping that Windows 8.1 certified usb wireless adapter will be compatible with the server since I can't find any rated for the server OS.

Is this just a ridiculous notion and should I just have them get those drops done?  Or is this something that can be done with a good chance of success?

Thank you in advance for your time and input.
