What we would like do is implement Server 2012 R2 Web Application Proxy using current ADFS 2.0. I have read contradicting things on the web. Some have stated that you MUST use ADFS 3.0 for Server 2012 R2 WAP to work. I have only seen this on 2 blogs. Could not find this referenced by anyone else, Microsoft or here.
Current setup:
- ADFS 2.0 on Windows Server 2008 R2.
- Have CRM 2011 and UAG 2010 using ADFS.
My questions:
- Is ADFS 3.0 required for WAP to work?
- If the first question is no, will implementing WAP break what we currently have setup on ADFS? WAP seem easy enough to link to ADFS and all of the setup seems to be on WAP. To my understanding it is just adding another service for ADFS to serve.
