I would like to get everyone's opinion on what would be the best solution for a small network.
The have 6 users 5 laptops all connecting wirelessly
1 dell optiplex 2yrs old I5 8gb mem 500gb hd win 7 pro this is called the server. This server is connected to the network wirelessly. I know crazy
They have a peer to peer network where the main folder on the dell is called company its where all the files they use are.
There main program they use is a cloud base program.
They have a netgear N3700 wireless router.
They are having issues with files being lost and not saving onto the main company folder.
They want to be able to control privileges on the main company folder so no one can delete anything.
They want to be able to login in remotely from outside of the office.
Need a solid backup solution
They want a program for user to log in and log out...
