Terminal Services (2003) and DFS Shares

Hi all,

I have this issue where users are unable to open certain file types on a DFS Share

The Share is published via the Domain Namespace (\\xyz-domain.com\Replicated).

A drive is mapped on logon via GPO, let's say: F: to \\xyz-domain.com\Replicated\Files), the user access F:\Public\ADatabase.mdb the user is presented with:

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

But the user is able to open "F:\Public\ADocument.doc".

Here's the twist, if the user browses to "\\FileServer-A\Files\Public" and opens "ADatabase.mdb" it opens fine.

I've checked the DFS tab and the client is using FileServer-A to access file on DFS.

I've also used Procmon.exe and I see nothing with access denied or failed.

Has anyone else come across this or can you help?
